When is DeepL the better choice?

For major languages and general documents, DeepL is fast and good. Use it.

If your content is in English, German or French and goes to other major languages, you may not need us at all.

When is DeepTranslate the better choice?

  • Your audience speaks a regional or minority language.
  • Subtitles go on air, so a fluent mistake is not acceptable.
  • You need your names, places and house terms right every time.
  • Your content has to stay in the EU, in an environment set up just for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is DeepTranslate part of DeepL?

No. DeepTranslate (deeptranslate.eu) is an independent company, deeptranslate OÜ. It is not part of DeepL SE and is not connected to deeptranslate.ai. The names are similar, the products are not.

Can we use both?

Yes. Many teams keep DeepL for major languages and use DeepTranslate for the rest.

DeepL lists Luxembourgish. Why use you?

Listed is not the same as ready for broadcast. We configure the engine per pair, check every segment, and run it in daily production at RTL Lëtzebuerg.
